Two SJC men's basketball players are once again ranked in the
weekly NCAA Division III statistics. Sophomore Elbie
Murphy (Loudonville, NY/Albany Academy) leads the nation
in steals with 4.6 per game and GR Chad Pulkkinen
(Windham, ME/Windham HS) is ranked 31st in free-throw percentage
with 86.2%.
As a team, the Monks are ranked 11th in steals per game with
12.2 and are 25th in scoring margin, beating opponents by an
average of 12.5 points per game.
