2009-10: Started in all 26 games as a sophomore for the Monks…averaged 33.5 minutes per game, which was the highest for the Monks…recorded two double-doubles and scored a career best 29 points against Lasell College where he shot 12-17 from the field and 2-3 from long range…averaged team-highs of 14.5 points and 4.1 assists per game…corralled 5.0 rebounds per game and shot 44.3% (141-318) from the field, 38.2% (26-68) from three-point range and 75.3% (70-93) from the charity stripe for the Monks…O'Brien led the Royal Blue in scoring in eight different games and netted at least 20 points on six occasions…garners second team all conference for the GNAC…named to the Maine honor roll three times and named to the GNAC weekly honor roll twice.

2008-09: Played in 25 games and made 19 starts...averaged 24.4 minutes per game...tallied 8.6 PPG and 4.4 RPG...made 80% (36-45) of his free throw attempts and shot 47.5% (84-177) from the floor...led the Monks with 18 points and 8 rebounds in a win over Southern Maine on November 30^th...led the team in scoring in three games and rebounds on four occasions...collected his first collegiate double-double with 19 points and 13 boards against Albertus Magnus on February 10^th...named GNAC Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week on December 1^st...garnered Maine All-Rookie Team honors following the season.

High School: Played for Garry Horne at Bishop Gibbons (NY) ... averaged 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists in guiding the Golden Knights to a 17-8 record and a Section II Championship ... recorded career-highs of 26 points versus Schenectady, 16 rebounds versus Amsterdam, and 11 assists versus LaSalle. After the season, he was named NYSPHSAA 4thTeam All-State, 1stTeam All-Section 2 (Times Union), 1stTeam All-Big-Ten and News Channel 13 All-Star.
