Noonan Earns Third MMBCWA Honor Roll Mention

STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph's College freshman center Clark Noonan (Bangor, ME) has been listed on the Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writers Association (MMBCWA) Weekly Honor Roll for the third time this season.

Noonan tallied 11.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Monks and scored a career-high 14 in an overtime win over Lasell College on Saturday.

Through 24 games for the 17-7 Monks, Noonan is averaging 4.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per contest. His is currently shooting 45.8% (38-83) from the floor and 63% (29-46) from the charity stripe.

Saint Joseph's currently sits atop the Great Northeast Athletic Conference standings with a 14-3 league record and one conference tilt remaining.

The Monks are again ranked fourth in Maine, according to a vote of head coaches around the state. St. Joe's received one first-place votes and 26 points overall. Bowdoin is the top-ranked team with five first-place bids and 42 points.

St. Joe's will complete the 2010-11 regular season with a road conference-contest at Mount Ida College on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
