Woodside brings a wealth of coaching experience from a variety of levels to the Saint Joseph's bench. After serving as a boys' varsity assistant and junior varsity head coach for Calais High School in 2013, he took over as the Blue Devils' varsity head coach in 2014 and led them to a State Championship in 2015. After the 2015-16 season, Woodside joined the men's basketball staff at Schreiner University, an NCAA DIII institution in Kerrville, Texas, where he worked as the assistant head coach and junior varsity clipboard carrier. While with the Mountaineers, Woodside designed team building and leadership programming, assisted with recruiting and video breakdown sessions, developed practice plans, and scheduled all contests for the junior varsity program. After one season with Schreiner, Woodside returned to Maine where he served as the head coach of the girls program at John Bapst Memorial High School for three years (2018-20).
