J.P. Pyne (SJC '01) has been named Head Coach of
the Daniel Webster College (Nashua, N.H.) baseball program. The
announcement was made by Assistant Vice President of Student
Affairs for Athletics, Phil Rowe.
Pyne returns to New Hampshire after spending the past season as
Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Saint Joseph's
College, helping the Monks to a 30-12 season record and a return
trip to the NCAA DIII Baseball Tournament.
Prior to returning to Saint Joseph's to coach in 2006, Pyne had been an assistant (2001-04), and then head (2005-06) baseball coach at NCAA DII St. Anselm College (Manchester, N.H.).
The Monks thank Coach Pyne for his contributions to the 2006-07 season and wish him continued success in his new role.
