STANDISH, ME - The Great Northeast Athletic
Conference has announced its Weekly Honor Roll and Saint Joseph's
outfielder Eric LaBatte '11
(Rochester, NH) has received mention.
LaBatte hit .350 (7-20) with four runs, three RBI's, two doubles a
triple and a home run in a 4-2 week for the Monks. The sophomore
right fielder was 2-4 with a double and a triple in a win over
Daniel Webster on April 9th and belted his third home run of the
season in a win over Norwich April 11th.
The sophomore is enjoying a breakout season for the Monks. Batting
fifth for most of the season, LaBatte is hitting .344 (31-90) with
24 runs, 22 RBI, eight doubles and three home runs through 30
games.
Saint Joseph's (21-9, 9-1 GNAC) will travel down the road to Gorham
on Thursday to take on Southern Maine in a 3:30 PM contest.
