Moran tossed 8 1/3 innings for the week, allowing two runs and five
hits with 14 strikeouts and no walks. The right-hander improved to

first save of the season in a win over Daniel Webster on April 9th.
The junior, also one of the Monks' top hitters, belted a pair of
home runs and registered eight RBI's during the week.
He leads the GNAC with 53 strikeouts in 45 innings and his 2.40
earned run average ranks third in the conference. Moran has walked

innings ranks eighth in all of NCAA DIII Baseball as of April
12th.
Moran has proven to be one of the top all-around contributors in
the GNAC this season. A dangerous hitter, he leads the GNAC with
six home runs and is tied for second on the team with 26 RBI. He

batting average and his .727 slugging percentage is tops on the
squad.
The SJC staff ace has taken home GNAC Pitcher of the Week honors
twice this season. Moran was also named to the 2008 GNAC
All-Tournament Team as a pivotal member of a St. Joe's team that
collected its first conference title as a first-year member of the
league.
Saint Joseph's (21-9, 9-1 GNAC) will travel down the road to Gorham
on Thursday to take on Southern Maine in a 3:30 PM contest.
