Face-Off Midi Enscoe Earns GNAC Rookie of the Week Honors

STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College freshman Adam Enscoe (Rochester, N.H.) has been selected as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week.

Enscoe led the Monks to two GNAC wins by winning 74.2% (23-31) of his face-off attempts last week. The freshman face-off midi won 14 of 15 bids in a triumph over Anna Maria on Tuesday and was 9-for-16 against Johnson & Wales on Saturday.

Through seven games this spring, Enscoe has won 49.3% (53-108) of his face-off attempts and ranks fourth in the conference in both face-off wins and ground balls (27).

Saint Joseph's, 4-3 overall with a 2-1 record in GNAC play, will play at Rivier University tomorrow in a conference matchup slated to begin at 7:00 PM.
