McFadden Earns GNAC Pitcher of the Week Honors

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades have been announced and Saint Joseph's College senior Kylie McFadden (Dover, N.H.) has been tabbed as the Pitcher of the Week.

McFadden was brilliant in four appearances last week as she posted a minuscule 0.30 ERA while allowing one earned run off 12 hits and three walks with 11 strikeouts in 23.2 innings. She tossed 22.2 frames without giving up an earned run before yielding a run versus Albertus Magnus on Sunday.

In 17 appearances this spring, McFadden is 10-6 with a 1.83 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 99.2 innings. She ranks second in the conference in ERA, sixth in opponents' batting average (.245), seventh in wins, and eighth in games started.

For McFadden, the weekly conference honor is the first of her collegiate career.

Saint Joseph's, the #2 seed in the GNAC Tournament, will face the winner of a second-round playoff game Thursday at 5:30 PM.
