STANDISH, ME - The Great Northeast Athletic
Conference has announced their first winter season weekly award
honorees, and St. Joe's, in the team's first season of existence,
has two names on the Swimming docket.
JR Ashton Piers (Falmouth, ME) has been named the
GNAC Swimmer of the Week for her stellar performance in the Regis
College meet held on Sunday, 11/18. Piers achieved three personal
firsts and one relay first in the non-conference event.
FY Lindsay D'Ascanio (Kennebunk, ME) was also
honored by the GNAC, earning the Rookie Swimmer of the Week honor
for her excellent performance in the Regis College meet. D'Ascanio
achieved two relay firsts and two personal firsts in the meet.
