BIDDEFORD, ME - The Saint Joseph's College Swim Team faced off
against the University of New England Nor'easters in non-conference
action on Monday night and lost, 147-81.
St. Joe's was led by JR Ashton Piers (Falmouth,
ME), who earned all three of the team's first place finishes in the
contest. Piers won the 50-yard breaststroke (37:09), 100-yard
breaststroke (1:20.34) and the 100-yard individual medley (1:10.85)
and achieved New England qualifying times in all three events.
The SJC Swim Team next travels to Bangor, ME on Saturday, 1/12 to
compete at Husson College. The competition begins at 12:00 PM.
