STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's sophomore swimmer Hannah Gajewski (Biddeford, ME/McAuley) has been listed on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the third time this season.
In a victory over Husson University on January 16th, Gajewski placed first in 100-Back (1:08.14) and the 50-Breast (36.11) events and second in the 50-Fly (29.95). Her performance in the 50-Breast set a new record for the program, as she shaved .12 off the mark she posted last season.
In 14 events so far as a sophomore, Gajewski has posted 10 top finishes and four runner-up efforts. Through January 21st, she has competed in 36 events in her college career, with 27 first-place performances and 9 second-place finishes. She also owns 10 individual program records and has swum legs for three of the Monks' record-setting relay teams.
Saint Joseph's will host Husson University on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
