WESTON, MA – Regis College defeated Saint Joseph's, 117-108, in women's swimming action on Saturday afternoon. Hannah Gajewski '12 (Biddeford, ME/McAuley) and Jamie Wojtkiewicz '12 (Bedford, NH) both registered a pair of top finishes for the Monks in the evenly-matched meet.

Gajewski posted first-place efforts in the 100-Fly (1:08.05) and 500-Free (5:44.55) events and Wojtkiewicz won the 200-Free (2:15.79) and 200-IM (2:34.59) competitions and also placed second in the 200-Breast (2:53.69) race.

Christine Cote '13 (Biddeford, ME) also had an impressive day, with wins in the 100-Free (1:00.26) and 50-Free (27.74) and a runner-up time in the 50-Fly (31.97).

Rose Maccarrone '12 (Hingham, MA) rounded out the Monks' top-finishers with a win in the 50-Fly (30.83).

Saint Joseph's will dive into the pool again in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship Meet on December 4th and 5th at Simmons College.
