Swimming Class of 2024 Announced

Swimming Class of 2024 Announced

STANDISH, Maine – Head Coach Jared Felker is pleased to announce the women's swimming Class of 2024.

Coach Felker's fourth recruiting class features nine swimmers – three men and six women – and will help fill the void left by the program's three departed seniors: Alexis Coiley, Autumn Nostrom, and Emily Roy.

The SJC women return five swimmers this year after placing ninth in the GNAC Championship and 17th in the NEISDA Championship last winter. On the men's side, four individuals return from a team that placed sixth in the GNAC Championship and 13th in the NEISDA's during the 2019-20 campaign.

"I am really excited for this freshmen class," adds Coach Felker. "All five women have a variety of talents and will bring not only speed, but versatility. Replacing our graduating seniors will be no small task, but I think they are up for the challenge. I look forward to working with them!"

"Our incoming men's class brings in some outstanding sprint speed, which no doubt will help especially with relays.  All four men are hardworking and will definitely bring an increased intensity to both practice and meets. I am excited to see what they can do!"
