ON THIS DATE: Gajewski and D'Ascanio Claim GNAC Weekly Honors

On November 24th, 2008 two Saint Joseph's swimmers, Lindsay D'Ascanio '11 (Kennebunk, ME) and Hannah Gajewski '12 (Biddeford, ME/McAuley) earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades.

D'Ascanio gets the nod for GNAC Swimmer of the Week honors after helping lead St. Joe's to a record-setting 184-50 win over Regis College on Sunday, November 23rd. D'Ascanio achieved top finishes in the 100-fly and 100-IM events and broke the school record in the 100-IM with a 1:09.29 effort. 

Gajewski claims her third GNAC Rookie of the Week award after another stellar performance versus Regis College on November 23rd. She claimed first-place finishes in the 50-back (32.84) and the 500-free (5:40.35), with the latter breaking the former SJC record by nearly six seconds.
