Amassed 244 wins – a program record at the time of his induction - with six conference championships, four NAIA New England Championships and one NAIA Northeast Championship, which resulted in the program's first appearance in the NAIA National Tournament in 1994

Inherited a team that went 1-12 in 1984 and, just two years later, helped the Royal Blue post the program’s first-ever 20-win season

Endured just one losing season and skippered the 1995 team to a 37-9 record, at the time the most victories in a single-season in college history

Named as the 1992 District 5 Coach of the Year and in 1990 and 1995 collected Maine Athletic Conference Coach of the Year accolades

Hired in 1979 after having served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, Bailey also served as the College's Dean of Students for 16 years
