In his third year with the royal blue, Craig came to SJC after
playing his high school baseball for Rocky Myers at Gorham High
School. During his junior year in high school Craig was part of a
team that won the 2005 Class B Maine State Championship. During his
senior year Craig played the outfield and batted .306 and was the
team's closer while leading the Telegram League in saves. Craig was
an All-Academic Team selection in 2006.
As a freshman for St. Joe's in 2007 Craig was 1-1 with a 4.35 era.
For his efforts Craig was named 2007 Saint Joseph's College
Baseball Most Improved Player. As a sophomore Craig never got on
track on the mound. In 2009 Craig will make the move from the mound
to position player as he attempts to break into Coach Sanborn's
outfield. A strong left handed hitter with speed in the outfield,
Craig could make a big impact this year.
Craig is the son of Vicki and Mark Woodbrey of Gorham, Maine.
