PORTLAND, ME - The Becker College Hawks defeated Saint Joseph's
College 9-5 in men's lacrosse action on Tuesday evening. FY

netted 3 goals and FY Elliot

Lucas Ward (Raymond, ME) each
collected 6 groundballs in the loss.
SO Luke LaFreniere (Alton, NH)
opened the scoring with his first goal of the season 3 minutes
inton the first quarter and Peckham scored nine
minutes later to put the Monks up, 2-1. The Hawks scored two goals
in the final 1:11 of the first to take a 3-2 lead going into the
second stanza.
Peckham scored his second goal of the game two
minutes into the second quarter to tie the game, 3-3. Becker
proceeded to score four unanswered goals before
Peckham added his third tally of the game, a
man-up goal at the 9:18 mark of the third period, to make the score
7-4, Hawks. FY Tokunbo Amosun
(Gardiner, ME) netted a man-up goal, his first career score, with
5:27 remaining to wrap up the Monks' scoring.
Monks senior goalkeeper Brendan
Dyer (New Gloucester, ME) made 10 saves and
LaFreniere, Peckham, SR
Tyler Arsenault (Kennebunk, ME)
and JR Matt Campbell (Dedham, MA)
collected four groundballs apiece in the loss.
Becker sophomore Aaron Fill scored 4 goals in the Hawks
victory.
