STANDISH, ME – The North Atlantic Conference has announced its weekly honors for the March 15-21 reporting period and Saint Joseph’s College freshman Spencer Hunt (Jeffersonville, VT/Lamoille Union) has been selected as the Rookie of the Week.
Hunt tallied seven goals, two assists and 13 groundballs in a 2-0 week for the Monks. The first-year attacker registered four goals, two assists and six groundballs in a 16-2 triumph over Emerson College on March 17th and notched a hat trick with seven groundballs in 14-4 victory over Daniel Webster College on March 20th.
Through five games for the 3-2 Monks, Hunt has scored eight goals with four assists and 16 groundballs. He ranks second on the squad in goals and third in total points.
St. Joe’s will host University of Southern Maine at Deering Memorial Stadium on Wednesday, March 24th at 6:00 PM.
