2012: Started and played in 16 games…chosen as a team captain for the second consecutive season…led the team in goals (41), points (61), shots (131), shots on goal (78) and ground balls (67)…ranked second on the squad in assists (20) and man-up goals (8) and third in caused turnovers (18)…second in the conference in goals and third in points…scored at least one goal in all 16 games in which he played…opened the season with a five-goal performance in a 16-0 win over Thomas College on March 6th…netted four markers in a loss at Swarthmore on March 13th…tallied three goals, three assists, eight ground balls and four caused turnovers in a 12-5 victory over Maine-Farmington on March 22nd…produced five goals and a pair of assists in a 13-11 win over GNAC-foe Anna Maria College two days later…picked up a career-high nine ground balls in a loss to Plymouth State on March 27th…helped lift the Monks past Daniel Webster College with three goals, two assists and nine ground balls in a 13-5 conference triumph on March 29th…registered four goals and a pair of helpers in a 20-10 victory over Emerson College on April 7th…became the first SJC men’s lacrosse player to score 100 career goals with his second tally in the win over the Lions…put up two goals and five assists versus Rivier College on April 21st…netted three of the Monks’ four goals in a GNAC Tournament loss at the hands of Norwich University on April 25th…garnered GNAC Player of the Week honors on March 26th…claimed First Team All-GNAC, GNAC All-Academic and Second Team All-ECAC accolades following the completion of the season…became the first SJC player to make an appearance in the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Senior Game…capped his career as the Monks’ all-time leader in goals (111), assists (67) and points (178)…leaves the program ranking second shots (358), shots on goal (210) and man-up goals (19). 

2011: Played in 16 games with 15 starts…scored 24 goals with 30 assists for 54 points…also corralled 42 ground balls with eight caused turnovers…led the Monks in assists and ranked second on the team in points…tied a program single-season record with eight assists against Maine-Farmington on March 23rd…earned First Team All-GNAC honors and was selected as the conference player of the week on March 28th…led the GNAC with 1.88 assists per contest and ranked fourth in the conference with 3.38 points per game…tallied at least six points in four different games…netted three goals and three assists in a win over Lyndon State on March 20th…put up 11 points with three goals and eight assists against Maine-Farmington on March 23rd…recorded three goals and four assists in a triumph over Rivier College on April 9th…posted three goals and three helpers in a victory over Daniel Webster on April 12th…registered a career-high 18 shots versus Salem State on March 5th…closed out his junior season ranked second all-time in assists (47) and third in both goals (70) and points (117).

2010: Suffered a season-ending injury in the Monks’ first game of the year…scored a goal and grabbed two ground balls in his only game, a 17-0 win over Bard College on March 6th.

2009: Played in 17 games, starting 16...scored first collegiate goal against Thomas College on March 16th...led the Monks in goals (45), assists (17), and points (62)...recorded a .366 shot percentage and put 65 shots on goal...recorded eight hat tricks and nine man-up goals...gathered 51 ground balls...awarded Rookie of the Week four times...All Conference Team honorable mention.

High School: Played Lacrosse Freshman and sophomore year of High school…participated on the crew team as a senior…played hockey during his freshman, sophomore, and junior years.

Personal: Jonathan Alves Horgan, born on February 26, 1990. From Hingham, MA…son of John and Rhoda Horgan...majoring in Sports Management.
