2011-12: Competed in all nine events and participated in 23 individual races as a freshman…won three events and placed as the runner-up in six events…swam legs in 21 different relay races…broke a pair of team records in the NEISDA Championship in late February – the 100 Free (49.47) and 50 Free (22.31)…also swam legs for four of the Monks’ five team-record setting relay teams in the NEISDA’s – the 200 Medley (1:42.50), 400 Medley (3:50.52), 200 Free (1:35.27), and 400 Free (3:26.00)…won the 50 Free with a 25.82 time and finished as the runner-up in the 100 Free (1:02.21) in his first non-exhibition meet – an event at Elms College on November 12th…posted wins in the 100 Free (50.31) and 50 Free (23.03) at Gordon College on February 4th…advanced to the NEISDA finals in the 100 Free (49.47) and 50 Free (22.31) and placed 10th in both events. 

High School: Swam for four years under Brian Buckley at Xaverian Brothers High School, making Division 1 States each year in the 50 freestyle...selected as team MVP and Catholic Conference All-Star as a senior...garnered Most Improved honors as a member of the varsity team his freshman year...also participated in football and lacrosse.
