2013-14: During his lapse in service to the St. Joes Swim Team he served our country by deploying to Afghanistan as a Specialist with the 133rd Engineer Battalion of the Maine Army National Guard, where he was an 88M (Heavy Equipment Operator) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Their mission set was one in which they helped with retro-grade operations and supported line units in the on-going effort.      

2012-13: Swam in six meets and 22 individual events as a junior…also swam legs in seven different relay races…posted a pair of victories versus Elms College on November 10th…won the 100-Breast (1:06.30) and 29.53) events that day…participated in four finals events in the GNAC Championship on December 1st and 2nd…registered third-place finishes in the 200-Breast (2:27.22), 100-Breast (1:04.42) and 50-Breast (29.29) events at the conference meet…won the 100-Breast (1:06.54) and 50-Breast (30.02) races at University of New England on January 13th…set a new personal best in the 50-Free with a 24.94 effort in an exhibition at Simmons College on January 19th…advanced to the finals in three individual events at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships in early February…broke the program’s 100-Breast record with a 1:03.06 time, good for 11th place, and finished ninth in the 50-Breast (28.90)…also placed 11th in the 200-Breast (2:27.04) finals and swam a leg - along with Bowden, Gilvey and DelVecchio – for the Monks’ 400-Medley relay which set a new team-record with a 3:50.20 time and placed eighth at NEISDA’s.

2011-12: Competed in eight meets and 31 individual events in his second collegiate campaign…registered four top finishes and four runner-up efforts while breaking three team records…swam legs in 13 relay competitions, including the team record-breaking 200 Medley, 400 Medley, 400 Free, and 800 Free events…tallied six personal-best times, including team record efforts in the 50 Breast (28.76), 200 Fly (2:30.69), and 100 IM (58.71)…added a pair of personal-bests in the 200 Free (2:00.38) and 50 Free (25.33) in an exhibition meet versus Husson University on November 5th…swam a personal-low 5:36.43 in the 500 Free in an exhibition against Simmons College on January 21st…joined teammates Towne, Delvecchio, and Holmes to help break the SJC team mark for the 200 Medley (1:42.50) and 400 Medley (3:50.52) relay races in the NEISDA Championship in late February…also swam legs for the Monks’ record-breaking 400 Free (3:26.00) and 800 Free (7:46.32) relays at NEISDA’s…advanced to the NEISDA finals in the 100 Breast (1:03.89, 16th), 50 Breast (28.76, 13th), and 100 IM (58.71, 12th)...has participated in 45 individual events with seven wins and six runner-up efforts through two NCAA seasons. 

2010-11: Competed in 17 events and broke eight team records after coming to Saint Joseph’s as a mid-year transfer…also swam legs in 11 relay races, including a pair of SJC victories…recorded program-record times in his first 11 individual college competitions…kicked off his collegiate career with wins in the 100-Breast (1:06.25), 50-Fly (27.68) and 400-IM (4:59.42) – with all three times qualifying as new program bests…placed second in the 200-IM (2:13.20) and 100-IM (1:00.80) events in his second NCAA meet – versus UNE on January 17th – and topped the program’s previous records in both competitions…broke team records in the 100-Free (53.23), 200-Breast (2:28.71) and 50-Breat (30.91) in an exhibition meet at Simmons College on January 22nd…topped his own time in the 400-IM (4:53.07) and broke the individual marks in the 100-Fly (1:00.00) and 50-Fly (27.04) events at Gordon College on February 5th…won all three competitions versus the Fighting Scots…advanced to the finals in three events and bested three of his team records at the NEISDA Championship in February…posted a new team best 2:22.79 time in the preliminary round of the 200-Breast and posted a 2:24.29 effort to place 12th in the finals of the event…placed 12th in the 100-Breast with a 1:03.52 time and ninth in the 100-IM with a 59.14 performance...also competed in all four of the Monks' team-record-breaking relay races in his first season.

High School: Swam three years of varsity swimming under coach Bob Winslow…captured 4th in states his senior year in 100 breaststroke and 6th in states in the 200 IM…also swam six years of club swim for the Waldo County YMCA Bluefish under coach Aaron Winslow and a year of masters swimming for the Maine Blue Lobsters…captured 3rd in 1000 free and 4th in 200 breaststroke at Masters Short Course Yards Nationals in Atlanta…collected six varsity letters…selected as a swim team captain in 2007.
