Quinlan Named GNAC Swimmer of the Week

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly awards have been announced and Saint Joseph's College junior Stephen Quinlan (Andover, Mass.) has been selected as the GNAC Corvias Men's Swimmer of the Week.

Quinlan picks up his first career GNAC weekly honor after winning the 50-Breast (32.66), 100-Breast (1:11.29) and 50-Fly (27.70) events in a double-dual sweep over UNE and Husson at the Alfond Center Pool on Sunday.

In two-and-a-half seasons at St. Joe's, Quinlan has competed in 61 total events with 17 victories and 16 runner-up performances. The junior captain has won five races with nine second-place finishes so far this season.

Saint Joseph's will host Simmons College and Western New England University in a double-dual Saturday at 12:00 PM.
