Kevin Clough joined the Monks as an assistant coach prior to the 2019-2020 season. In addition to assisting Head Coach David Keenan as needed, Coach Clough leads efforts with video and technology initiatives for the program and is the head coach of the St Joe’s Women’s Club Lacrosse team.

A player and occasional coach of the men’s game since the late 1980’s, Clough began coaching the girls’ game when his daughter showed interest in the 4th grade. Falling in love with the uniquely fast, physical, and nuanced game, he continued to coach the girls’ and women’s game, filling in the gaps where high school and middle school programs in Southern Maine and New Hampshire needed a coach.

In addition to coaching at the collegiate level, Coach Clough has a passion for helping girls lacrosse players in Southern Maine and New Hampshire to build the skills, interest, and aptitude for continuing to play in college. To that end, he coaches private club lacrosse and volunteers with various municipal and school lacrosse programs, encouraging younger players to dare to work on their stick skills and think big.

Coach Clough lives in South Berwick, Maine, with his wife Amy. Their adult daughters work and attend college in upstate New York.
