STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been released and Saint Josephs' College junior Brooke Troup (East Bridgewater, Mass.) has been named as the GNAC Corvais Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week.

Troup posted a pair of shutouts last week, as the junior captain made eight saves in a 1-0 win over Southern Maine on Wednesday and recorded four stops in a 2-0 victory over Simmons on Saturday.

In nine appearances so far this season, Troup is 5-3 with a 1.49 goals against average and a .776 save percentage after allowing 13 goals on 45 shots over slightly less than 784 minutes between the pipes.

The conference weekly honor is a career-first for Troup, who earned three GNAC Weekly Honor Roll awards and a Third Team All-GNAC nod as a freshman in 2014.

Saint Joseph's is back in action Wednesday when the Monks play host to GNAC-rival Mount Ida College in a 3:30 PM start.
