Comtois Selected to Play in NEWISA Senior Bowl Game

STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College senior midfielder Sarah Comtois (Lowell, Mass.) has been chosen to participate in the 2017 New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl Game, to be held at Merrimack College on Saturday, December 2nd at 2:00 PM.

Comtois, a two-year captain for the Monks, started all 20 contests this season and netted two goals with two assists for six total points during her senior campaign. The four-year starter and two-time Second Team All-Conference selection recorded 12 goals and 10 assists totaling 34 points in 77 career games and leaves the program ranked third in team history in games played.

Comtois will be the second Saint Joseph's player to NEWISA Senior Bowl, which features the top women's soccer seniors at New England-based schools across all three NCAA divisions. Katie Jordan '09 was selected to play in the 2008 exhibition contest.
