  • Grad student Jordan Restivo leads the conference in goals (22), assists (18), points (62), shots (118) and game-winning goals (6)
  • Senior Hayley Viebrock is second on the team in goals (8) and points (20)
  • Sophomore Angelina Oliveira, freshman MacKenna Renaud, and first-year Kylie Schmidt have netted six goals apiece this fall

  • In her first season as a starter, junior Carly Downey (Yarmouth, Maine) has posted a 1.41 goals against average with a .806 save percentage after making 116 saves and allowing 28 goals in 1518 minutes. She ranks second in the conference in wins (10) and fourth in minutes and saves.
  • JWU sophomore Carly McCrumb is 10-2-1 with a 0.95 goals against average and a .698 save percentage in 16 games – 12 starts – this fall. She has allowed 13 goals while making 30 saves in 1228 minutes and ranks third in the conference in goals against average and shutouts (5); rarely tested, she has been forced to make more than three saves in a game just three times all season

THE LAST TIME WE MET:

Johnson & Wales blanked Saint Joseph's, 3-0, in the 2022 regular season matchup played at the SJC Athletics Complex on October 1st. Viebrock, Angelina Carrion and Skyla Landry scored for the Wildcats, who held the lead in shots (29-4), shots on goal (22-0), and corner kicks (8-0) that afternoon.

HISTORICALLY SPEAKING:

With the loss, Saint Joseph's fell to 5-10-4 all-time versus Johnson & Wales University. The Wildcats have defeated the Monks in three-consecutive meetings dating back to the 2019 campaign.

JWU is riding a 34-game undefeated streak versus GNAC foes (regular and postseason) and has not suffered a loss to a conference foe since the Monks defeated the Wildcats in Standish, 2-1, on October 26th, 2019. In fact, the Wildcats' last three GNAC setbacks have come at the hands of Saint Joseph's.

POSTSEASON HISTORY:

The Monks have advanced to the GNAC postseason in 14 of 15 seasons and will be playing in the semifinal round for the seventh time this evening. St. Joe's suffered a 2-0 defeat to Lasell University in a 2021 semifinal contest and fell to JWU, 2-1, in the 2019 semis. Saint Joseph's defeated the Wildcats, 4-2, in the 2018 GNAC semifinals and went on to tip Lasell, 1-0, in the finals to claim the program's first GNAC Championship.

The Wildcats have appeared in the GNAC Tournament in 20 of the last 25 seasons with GNAC Championships in 2000, 2005, 2019 and 2021.
