Women’s Soccer Class of 2027 Released

STANDISH, Maine - Saint Joseph's College women's soccer Head Coach Jenelle Harris is pleased to announce the team's recruiting class of 2027.

Coach Harris, who is about to begin her 11th year as the Monks' skipper, is bringing in seven players from three different states - three from Maine, two from Massachusetts, and a pair from Connecticut. St. Joe's welcomes three midfielders, two forwards, and two defenders to a team that graduated five seniors from a 2022 side that posted a 10-9-1 overall record with a 9-3-1 mark in conference play.

"This talented recruiting class, along with our strong core of returners, will play a pivotal role as we prepare for another run in the GNAC Tournament, with the ultimate goal being a conference championship," adds Coach Harris. "We're excited to see how they perform at the collegiate level. The 2027 Class will add to our program's culture of competitive fire, commitment, accountability, and family – both on and off the field."

Last fall the Monks secured the #4 seed in the GNAC Tournament and opened the postseason with a decisive 3-1 quarterfinal victory over #5 Regis College on October 29th. Saint Joseph's then suffered a hard-fought 1-0 semifinal setback at the hands of  top-seeded Johnson & Wales University, which proceeded to win the GNAC Championship for the third-consecutive season.
