Jeff Yaeger, a native of Presque Isle, Maine, graduated from Saint Joseph's College in 2004. He was the starting goalkeeper for three years, including 2000 when the Monks won the Maine Atheltic Conference Championship. Jeff was named the Saint Joseph's College Male Athlete of the Year in 2004 after helping the Monks post a program-best 12 wins in the fall. After he graduated from SJC in 2004 with degree in Finance, Yaeger moved to Colorado to spend a year training with the Colorado Springs Blizzard of the Player Development League.

Yaeger will fill the role of goalkeeper coach for both programs starting with the 2012 season. He currently owns the program record for goalkeeper games (70) and ranks second in team history in minutes (5562) and wins (22). Yaeger also ranks third all-time in saves (387) and shutouts (10.5) and fourth in goals against average (1.86).

Yaeger began his coaching career in 2005 as a volunteer assistant coach for the St. Joe's men's program in 2005. He served an assistant for the women's program in '06 and oversaw the goalkeepers for both men's and women's teams in 2007.

Coach Yaeger holds both E and D licenses from US Youth Soccer as well as State Coaching and State Goalkeeping Diplomas from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. He has served as the assistant coach of the Odyssey U-14 boys team and is also the head of goalkeeper training for the club.

Coach Yaeger currently works as an underwriter for The Standard Insurance Company in South Portland and lives in Windham with his wife Michelle and their young son, Lucas.
