Saint Joseph's Downed by Salem State

SALEM, MA - Salem State College defeated St. Joe's 11-3 and 9-3 in a double header at Salem on Monday. The Vikings recorded 26 hits in the two games.

In game 1, Saint Joseph's (6-13) took a 3-run lead in the second inning, but Salem put up six runs in the third to take the lead for the remainder of the game.

In the second game, the Vikings (7-4) took a 5-1 lead with three runs in the second and two in the third.

Senior captain Helene Liaci (Clifton, NJ) had three hits, including a triple for St. Joe's.

St. Joe's plays a double header at Plymouth State (NH) at 4 PM on Wednesday 4/13.
