STANDISH, Maine – Weekly accolades have been announced and Saint Joseph's College sophomore catcher Chantelle Bouchard (Biddeford, Maine) has earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and Maine College Baseball & Softball Association (MCBSA) Player of the Week.

Bouchard enjoyed a fantastic week during the Monks' spring trip as the sophomore standout hit .560 (14-25) with six runs, five doubles, three home runs, and 13 RBI with a .593 OBP and a stellar 1.120 slugging percentage. She had at least one hit in every game and produced multiple hits in four different contests. In a win over Mount St. Mary on Thursday, Bouchard went 3-4 with two runs, a double, two home runs, and six RBI to become the seventh player in team history to belt two home runs in a game.

The weekly accolades are a career-first for Bouchard, who missed the majority of her freshman season due to injury.

Saint Joseph's is scheduled to host Thomas College on Saturday in a non-conference doubleheader slated to start at 12:00 PM.
