The National Fastpitch Coaches Association today announced the
Top Ten All-Academic Teams, based on cumulative grade-point
averages submitted by NFCA member head coaches for the 2005-06
academic year. Through this program, the NFCA honors collegiate
softball teams for their success in the classroom.
The Saint Joseph's College softball team, coached by Jamie Smyth
(SJC '92, 9th season), ranked SEVENTH among all
NCAA Division III colleges with a cumulative team GPA of 3.515.
