Madylan Kluna '12 (Standish, ME)
has been listed on the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll.
Kluna posted a 3-0 record with a 0.39 ERA, 20 strikeouts and seven
hits allowed in 18 innings during an 8-0 week for the Lady Monks.
The rookie hurler tossed a five-inning perfect game in a mercy-rule
shortened contest against Albertus Magnus on April 19th.
Through 36 games for St. Joe's (26-10, 18-6 GNAC), Kluna leads the
club in innings (81 2/3), strikeouts (60) and opponent batting
average (.217). She carries an 8-5 record into the conference
tournament, which begins on Wednesday.
As the #2 seed in the tourney, Saint Joseph's receives a bye in the
opening round and will play a quarterfinal contest at Ward Park on
Friday at 4:00 PM, opponent TBD.
