Saint Joseph's, 35-8 overall and 21-3 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play this spring, claimed the program's first GNAC Championship in four years as a member of the conference with a 5-4 win over Rivier College on Sunday, May 1st.
With the win, the Monks collect the GNAC's NCAA tourney automatic qualifier and will advance to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.
