STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College senior outfielder Emily Leverone (Hampton, N.H.) has garnered NCAA DIII Regional All-Tournament Team honors for the second consecutive season.
Leverone hit an even .500 (4-8) with two runs, a double, a home run, and two RBI in two tournament contests for the Monks. St. Joe's, the fifth seed, suffered a pair of narrow losses in the double-elimination tourney, falling to #4 Keene State College, 4-2, in the team's opener and losing to #8 Keuka College, 5-4, in nine innings the following afternoon.
Saint Joseph's went 33-9 overall and 23-3 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play under the watch of 15th-year Head Coach Jamie Smyth '92 (355-245, .592) in 2012.
