Tripp Earns GNAC Honor Roll Mention

STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College senior catcher Heather Tripp (Lovell, Maine) has been listed on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll.

The two-year team captain hit .375 (9-24) with three runs, two doubles, three home runs and nine RBI in a 6-2 week for the Monks. She was 2-3 with a run, a double, a homer and five RBI in a win over UNE on Tuesday and belted solo shots in wins over Norwich and Simmons over the weekend.

Tripp has started all 39 games for Saint Joseph's this spring and heads into the second round of the GNAC Tournament hitting .342 (41-120) with 14 runs, 16 doubles, four home runs and 36 RBI.

Fourth-seeded Saint Joseph's (30-9, 18-6 GNAC) will face #8 Suffolk University in a GNAC Tournament contest at University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Friday at 2:00 PM.
