Standish, ME - Past members of the Saint Joseph's College women's basketball team returned to campus on Sunday, January 14th for the 2007 Alumni Game. The fun began at 1:00 with the alumni cheering on the SJC squad to a 64-53 victory over Green Mountain College.
Eleven players laced up their sneakers and took the court for an action-packed 40 minutes. Competing on the red team were (L-R in photo above): Sheri (McCarthy) Piers '93, Neile (Joler) Nelson '95, Stacey Gelinas '02, Karen (Rogers) Matheson '95, Megan Tetrault '05, Abbie Rice '04, Kate Burrell '01, Danielle Somma '06, Cassie Turcotte '01, and Kaylin Regula. The players enjoyed a reception in the Alumni Lounge after the contest and had the opportunity to visit and reminisce with family, teammates and current SJC players and staff.
