STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's junior forward
Meghan Daigle (Grantham,
NH/Lebanon HS) has been named to the Maine Women's Basketball
Coaches Association Weekly Honor Roll for her play in three games
over the holiday break.
In contests versus Bates, Cedar Crest and Nichols, Daigle averaged
17 points and 7.7 rebounds. She scored 19 points and grabbed nine
rebounds in a loss to Nichols in the Key Largo Classic Championship
game and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
With a 14.2 points per game average, Daigle leads the Lady Monks in
scoring and is second on the team in rebounding with 4.9 boards per
contest.
Saint Joseph's will host Johnson & Wales in the team's
conference opener on Saturday, January 10th at 1:00 PM.
