STANDISH, ME - The Great Northeast Athletic
Conference has announced its Weekly Honor Roll and Saint Joseph's
junior forward Meghan Daigle
(Grantham, NH) has been recognized for the second time this
season.
Daigle receives mention for her play in the
reporting week ending February 8th, as she helped the Lady Monks
post a pair of conference wins over Pine Manor and Saint Joseph
(CT). In the victories, she averaged 17.5 points and 7.5
rebounds.
The Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association also bestowed
Daigle with Honor Roll mention for the same
reporting period.
Daigle posted the second double-double of her
career with 22 points and 12 rebounds, both game highs, in a 59-43
win over Saint Joseph (CT) on February 7th. Her first career
double-double was a year ago, nearly to the day, as she had 21
points and 10 rebounds against Johnson & Wales University on
February 9th, 2008.
Saint Joseph's will play at Norwich University on Saturday,
February 14th in a 3:00 PM GNAC contest, while Saint Joseph (CT) is
set to host Suffolk University at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February
10th.
