STANDISH, ME - The 2011-2012 GNAC Women's Basketball Playoff pairings are now available. The Emmanuel College Saints are seeded first after recording an undefeated conference record of 13-0 and a 19-6 mark overall.
Coming in second place is Saint Joseph's College with a conference record of 12-1 (18-7 overall) with their only loss to top seeded Emmanuel. Earning a third place finish is Rivier College (11-2, 17-8) and Suffolk University (10-3, 17-8) took fourth place finishing out the top four home seeded teams in the tournament bracket.
Rounding out the final four spots in the GNAC tournament are #5 Mount Ida (8-5, 14-11), #6 Johnson & Wales (6-7, 10-15), #7 Albertus Magnus (6-7, 11-14) and #8 Norwich (6-7, 11-14).
