STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph's senior center Ashley Geel (St. George, Maine) has collected Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association (MWBCA) Second Team All-State honors.

Geel, the 20th player to reach the 1,000-point plateau, capped her career as the program's all-time leader in blocked shots (202) and tallied 1,093 points and 672 rebounds in 104 contests over four seasons. Her play helped propel the Monks to a 20-8 overall record, including a 12-1 conference mark, as well as a long conference tournament run which ended with a loss to top-seeded Emmanuel College in the GNAC Championship contest.
