STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been released and Saint Joseph's College sophomore forward Grace Ramsdell (Wells, Maine) has been selected as the GNAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week.

Ramsdell averaged 15.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting 47.6% (10-21) from the field and 80.0% (8-10) from the free throw line in two SJC victories last week. She scored 19 points in a lopsided win over UMaine-Farmington on Tuesday and added a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards in a victory over Southern Maine on Sunday.

The weekly honor is the first of Ramsdell's collegiate career.

In six contests this winter Ramsdell has averaged 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, 1.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 42.2% (27-64) from the floor, 29.4% (5-17) from three-point land, and 72.2% (13-18) from the FT line. She currently ranks second on the team in scoring average and rebounding and is tied for second in FG%.

Saint Joseph's will host Bowdoin College on Wednesday in a non-conference contest set to start at 7:00 PM.
