Ramsdell Earns Second Consecutive GNAC Weekly Honor

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been announced as Saint Joseph's College sophomore forward Grace Ramsdell (Wells, Maine) has earned GNAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week accolades for the second-consecutive reporting period.

Ramsdell claims the top rookie honor after averaging 12.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game in a 1-1 week for the Monks. She recorded a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds - along with two assists, two steals, and a pair of blocks - in a 64-53 GNAC victory over University of Saint Joseph on Saturday.

Through eight games this winter Ramsdell is averaging 11.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists while shooting 41.6% (37-89) from the field, 30.4% (7-23) from three-point range, and 77.8% (14-18) from the free-throw line. She currently ranks second on the team in scoring and rebounding averages and is fourth in the conference in blocked shots (10).

Saint Joseph's (5-3, 1-0 GNAC) will play at Regis College on Saturday in a conference contest set to start at 1:00 PM.
