Despite having a disappointing season on the field, the Saint
Joseph's field hockey team excelled in the academic arena. The
Saint Joseph's College Monks were named to the 2005 National Field
Hockey Coaches Association Division III National Academic Team
Award list, which listed college programs with a team GPA of 3.0 or
higher.
The following individual students were also named to the 2005
National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III National
Academic Squad: Kristi Albert, Monique Crawford, Michelle Cusack,
Kelly Emerson, Molly Findlay, Kathleen Foster, Ellen Gagne, Amanda
MacPheters, Lauren Snow, Kara Squillante and Emily Sumner.
