STANDISH, ME - The North Atlantic Conference has announced its weekly awards and Saint Joseph's College Field Hockey standout Julia Ostrowski '10 (Albany, NY) has received Player of the Week honors.
Ostrowski scored the game tying goal in a 2-1 conference win over Farmington on Monday and then netted a hat trick in a 7-1 victory over Rivier College on Saturday.
Through 11 games, Ostrowski leads the NAC in goals (13) and ranks second, behind teammate Kayla Nowell '11 (Bridgton, ME), in points (30). The senior forward currently holds the program career record for goals (41), assists (36) and points (118).
Saint Joseph's (9-2, 4-0 NAC) will play on Thursday at Salem State in a non-conference game set for a 6:00 PM start.
