STANDISH, ME - The North Atlantic Conference has announced the 2009 Field Hockey All-Tournament Team and a pair of Saint Joseph's players - Julia Ostrowski '10 (Albany, NY) and Alyssa Dunn '11 (Standish, ME) - have been honored.
Fourth-seeded Husson University upset top-seeded St. Joe's (14-4, 7-0 NAC) in the semifinals , 2-1, after a strokeoff at Lakeside Field on Wednesday. The Eagles went on to defeat #3 University of Maine-Farmington, 2-0, in the 2009 NAC Championship on Saturday to earn an automatic berth into the NCAA DIII Tournament.
