NAC Tabs Drew as Player of the Week

STANDISH, ME – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) weekly awards have been announced and Saint Joseph's College junior forward Effie Drew (Portland, Maine) has claimed NAC Player of the Week honors.

Drew helped propel the Monks to a pair of victories last week with three goals and an assist in wins over Anna Maria College and Johnson & Wales University. The junior transfer broke out with two goals and an assist in a 6-0 triumph versus Johnson & Wales on Sunday.

Drew is the second Saint Josephs' player in as many weeks to earn weekly conference honors. Senior Rachelle Messuri (Atkinson, N.H.) collected the same award last week.

Saint Joseph's (3-0) will play at Salve Regina University in a non-conference game slated to begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday.
