STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College is ranked third in the first NCAA DIII New England East Regional Rankings of the 2019 season, as announced late last week.
With two regular season games remaining, Saint Joseph's, 15-3 overall and 7-0 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play through October 27th, has clinched the top seed in the GNAC Tournament for the fourth time in the last six years. Looking to claim their fourth-consecutive GNAC title, the Monks have earned a first-round bye and will host a semifinal contest on Wednesday, November 6th, start time and opponent TBD.
In the first regional rankings of the 2019 campaign, the Monks sit behind Endicott College (12-4) and Babson College (12-3) and ahead of MIT (8-4) and University of New England (9-7).
Saint Joseph's closes out the regular season on Wednesday with a 3:30 PM GNAC contest at Colby-Sawyer College.
