On November 10th, 2007 the Saint Joseph's College field hockey team edged Plymouth State University, 1-0, in an Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament semifinal at Lakeside Field.

NOTEWORTHY:

  • Sophomore Jillian Kimball (Albany Township, Maine) scored the Monks' lone goal in the 38th minute off a pass from sophomore Jessica Baker (Scarborough, Maine)
  • Freshman goalkeeper Kat Simoes (Wakefield, Mass.) made eight saves in the shutout performance
  • The Panthers held the advantage in shots (13-7) and penalty corners (11-9)
