Courtney Rague was hired as an assistant coach prior to the start of the 2015 season.

A four-year member of the Monks’ field hockey program, Rague ranks among the program’s all-time leaders in goals (30), assists (21), points (81), shots (120) and game-winning goals (7). She recorded one of the finest single-season efforts in team history as a senior, when she tallied 14 goals and 12 assists for 40 total points en route to earning 2010 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-NAC honors.

After graduating in the spring of 2011, Rague jumped into the high school coaching ranks, serving as an assistant varsity and junior varsity head coach for three years at Deering High School.

Rague currently works in the front office for the Portland Sea Dogs as the Account Manager for Sales and On-Field Promotions Coordinator for the Boston Red Sox Double-A affiliate. The 2016 season will be her sixth with the Sea Dogs.

Rague graduated from Saint Joseph’s in May of 2011 with a B.S. in Sports Management and a Minor in Business Administration.
